Description
This is an ORIGINAL Set of 6" (inch) hard rubber Dwarfs, created in 1938, following the release of the Disney animated feature movie "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs". They were produced by The Seiberling Rubber Company of Akron Ohio, (They are marked as such). These are identical to the set, on display in the Visitor Center of Disney World in Orlando Florida. This is one of approximately 5 or 6 sets, I know to exist, from individuals I have had communication with throughout the years. This is an ORIGINAL Set. These are NOT later or more recent replicas, which admittedly have been made since 1938. They are in VERY NICE original, untouched, unaltered, unmolested & unrestored condition. These are NOT some flea market find. They have been in my Mother's possession, since her Father gave them to her as a gift, in 1938. They are 70 years old and in REMARKABLE CONDITION, for their age. They have been protected from light and temperature change ALL these years. This is a RARE opportunity for someone to own one of these original sets. My Mother, now 84, is the original owner of the set. These are obviously geared toward the SERIOUS DISNEY COLLECTOR. I cannot accept Paypal as a method of payment for this item, based on the item value and today's unfortunate potential for scams, leaving us far too vulnerable to a major loss.
