Inside the box there is a seal carved shaped like a Tobacco leaf, which reads " Tabaco Habano Made In Cuba". On the bottom part of the box it's marked "Hecho en Cuba".  It forms part of a collection created by Cubatabaco from where the various themes like Tobbacco, Agriculture, views of the Capitol Building in the Habana, the discovery of Cuba, and one of an antique Coach. About 100 of each theme were made and the most important ones were painted white (blanchi), some yellow like the one shown here or other in the original mahogany finish. They were utilized as gifts for Dignataries or other important personalities visiting Cuba.
